HYMATOL PROJECT ON THE PHYLOGENY OF HYMENOPTERA

The NSF is providing substantial financial support for our joint project on the phylogeny of Hymenoptera in the AToL (=Assembling the Tree of Life) framework for the 5 years, from December 2003 until December 2008.
We are planning to include all hymenopteran families in our study. The final supermatrix will combine data from several genes with a large number of morphological characters. The characters will be documented with images and this dataset will be made available on the internet.
